New Tee Shirt Series - "The FØLKS"

“These Folks in Mississippi are quite alright...” was the sentiment that kept coming across Chane’s mind as he and his dog Zero took 2 tours around the state in 2018 promoting Studio Chane Screen Printing.  

After 31 years of Project Chane Tees and 10 years of local Jackson snark with the Jackson Series tees, the itch to invent new ideas was birthed on rural Mississippi roads.  

THE FØLKS series represents more of a thought and logo driven line of tees (minus the kitche or the snark found in the other lines).  Three initial designs will launch on April Fools day followed by bi-weekly releases of new ideas, designs and products.

Without rhyme or reason, Chane has always been intrigued with both the Swedish and Spanish languages and this line of tees has become intertwined with both as well as Mississippi culture. The sentiment of the FØLKS line seems to be wrapped up fittingly in the tagline - "no somos ellos," meaning “We are not them” in Spanish.  As broad a thought as the tagline portrays - the simple thought here is that without our innate pressures of conformity, we can be whoever we want outside of the world’s social cliques. 

FØLKS designs are printed on super high quality Alternative Apparel in a variety of material blends.  The first 25 consumers of FØLKS brand products will also get a free limited edition FØLKS tote bag and vinyl sticker.
